Amy’s search for a rustic home ends with 12 acres + a 1977 home in need of a lot of love … and a sledgehammer

Amy fell in love with a 1977 post mid-century modern rustic home, on 12 acres in Wisconsin, that was in need of a total overhaul. This isn’t just a flip, it’s a transformation. DIY’ing most of the project herself, her vision is to create a gorgeous Scandinavian retreat, that flows seamlessly with its natural surroundings. She is focusing on using natural materials and a neutral palette, while also salvaging as much of the existing materials as possible, in order to turn them in to beautiful, functional components of the home.
